From new ideas to community projects? China is setting an example of how to have a greener and more sustainable future. What can we expect soon? We looked for answers to similar questions at the first fall event of the China Talks workshop series. The Center for International Economy at Mathias Corvinus Collegium organized this event. Tien Huifang, Research Director at the China-CEE Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was the guest speaker at the event.

During the workshop, the discussion partners talked about how China has changed a lot since the UN Millennium Development Goals and how it has changed even more since the Sustainable Development Goals.

The discussion was led by Csaba Moldicz, the Head of the MCC Center for International Economy. Under the event talked about the most important issues and the main reasons for the economic and social processes happening in China.

In additions, the discussion partners tried to answer questions about the reality behind the statistics and the direction China may take in the future, as well as past events. The discussion was held in front of a large audience.
